Why PPF prices vary so much
PPF is not one product at a fixed price. The price is the film plus the fitting time, and fitting PPF is careful hand work that can take a day or more for a full car. That is why you see such different prices from shop to shop.
Coverage
Front coverage (bumper, bonnet, wings and mirrors) costs much less than full-body coverage.
Size and shape of the car
Large cars and complex bumpers need more film and more time.
Film type and warranty
Thicker films, longer warranties and matte films cost more.
Paint condition
If the paint needs polishing before fitting, that is added to the cost.
Rough market prices
These are rough Abu Dhabi market figures for 2026, for comparison only. The actual price depends on your car.
- Full-body on a small sedan: from about AED 4,900
- Full-body on a large SUV: about AED 7,000 to 11,000
- Full-body with premium or matte film: can pass AED 15,000
- Front only: much less than full-body, depending on the car
How to save on PPF without losing protection
- Start with front coverage, which takes most of the stone chips
- Add ceramic coating to the rest of the car instead of full-body PPF
- Fit the film while the car is new, so no polishing is needed first
- Compare the warranty, not just the price: cheap film can yellow quickly
